1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing the Alpha Journal terminal, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you are prohibited from using the platform.

2. Intellectual Property & Trademark Notice

The Alpha Journal brand, including its luxury aesthetic, software architecture, and AI-driven coaching logic, is the exclusive intellectual property of Alpha Journal.

3. Financial Risk Warning

Trading financial markets involves substantial risk of loss. Alpha Journal is an analytical tool and AI coaching platform; we do not provide financial advice.

You are solely responsible for your trading decisions. Alpha Journal, its developers, and affiliates shall not be held liable for any financial losses or damages resulting from your use of the software or the AI coaching feedback.

4. Use of AI Coaching

The "AI Coach" provides psychological and statistical analysis based on the data you input. While designed to improve performance, AI-generated insights are experimental and should be verified against your own trading plan and risk management protocols.

5. Subscription & Billing

Billing is handled via secure third-party payment processors. Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled beforehand via the Dashboard. We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice.

6. Refunds & Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your Dashboard. Cancellation stops future renewals; you retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period.

Except where required by applicable law, subscription fees are non-refundable and we do not provide refunds or credits for partial billing periods or unused time. If you are a UK/EU consumer, your statutory cancellation and refund rights are not affected by this clause.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any data, analytics, or AI output will be accurate or reliable. Nothing in this clause limits any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alpha Journal, its developers, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, trading losses, or data, arising from your use of the platform.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any and all claims relating to the service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) £100. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time via your Terminal Settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if you breach these terms, misuse the platform, or engage in fraudulent or unlawful activity. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately; the sections on intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability survive termination.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the platform or by email, and the "Effective Date" above will be revised. Your continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in London, UK.
